GENERAL CONDITIONS
All papers, whether Orals or Posters, must be presented at the conference. Registration to the Main conference is mandatory for at least one author of each accepted paper at the in-person fees rate (even if the paper is presented remotely) by the early-bird registration deadline.
Failure to register will result in the cancellation of the paper’s publication in LREC-COLING 2024 Proceedings.

Your institution is currently a member of ELRA, and you can benefit from the ELRA Member fees. During the registration, you will just have to select your institution from the Institutional Member drop-down list. Without this information, you will not be able to register as an ELRA member. If you want to join the association as an individual member, please read the corresponding section below.
- Regular – ELRA Member (Individual)
You are currently an individual member of ELRA. Please select your email address from the Individual Member drop-down list.
- Regular – ELRA Member (joining)
You have chosen to register for LREC-COLING 2024 Main Conference and/or workshop(s) and/or tutorial(s), and you want to join ELRA as an individual member. The ELRA 2-year membership fees amount to 100€. The Registration fees you will pay are inclusive of this amount.
Student – ELRA Member
- ELRA Student Member (Institutional)
Your institution is currently a member of ELRA, and you can benefit from the ELRA Student Member fees. During the registration, you will just have to select your institution from the Institutional Member drop-down list. Without this information, you will not be able to register as an ELRA member. If you want to join the association as an individual member, please read the corresponding section below.

You have chosen to register to LREC-COLING 2024 and/or workshop(s) and/or tutorial(s), and you want to join ELRA as an individual student member.
The ELRA 2-year membership fees amount to 50€. The Registration fees you will pay are inclusive of this amount.
REGULAR AND STUDENT PARTICIPANTS (NOT JOINING ELRA)

You have chosen to register to LREC-COLING 2024 and/or workshop(s) and/or tutorial(s), and you don’t want to join ELRA as an individual member, and you are not a student. The Registration fees you will pay will not include the membership fees.
Student
You have chosen to register to LREC-COLING 2024 and/or workshop(s) and/or tutorial(s), and you don’t want to join ELRA as an individual student member. Your Registration fees will not include the ELRA membership fees.

ELRA 2-year Membership Fees (optional)
- Regular Participant: 100€
- Student Participant: 50€

Student Rate
Proof of academic standing must be provided for registering as a student. During the registration process, students must upload proof of their status signed by the Head of the department or a valid student ID (PDF or gif, jpg, png file).
Registration Conditions
For the Main conference, two registration periods are defined with different registration fees:
- Early-bird: Up to April 15, 2024
- Normal & Late: April 16, 2024
Registration will be considered as final once the payment of the registration fees has been processed and accepted by our bank.
Payment
All payments must be made in EURO. Upon receipt of your payment, your registration will be confirmed by email, and a receipt will be sent to you.
Applicable VAT on Registration Fees
VAT is included in the registration fees. The applicable rates are as follows:
- in-person fees: 22%
- remote fees: 22%
- Credit Card Payment (preferred)
The payment of registration fees to LREC-COLING 2024 (Main conference and/or Workshops and Tutorials) should be made using a credit card (CB, Visa, Mastercard, American Express). The Online Registration system guarantees secure credit card transactions.

All bank charges and foreign exchange commissions are to be paid by the participant.
- Purchase Order
This payment method is reserved to institutions.
Institutions can issue a purchase order (PO) with the items ordered by one or several participants to LREC-COLING 2024. In this case, the purchase order needs to be sent to the Conference Secretariat by email at ELRASecretariat@lrec-coling-2024.org.
Letter of Invitation and Visa Letter
The Letter of invitation and the Visa Letter will be downloadable for all the registered/paid participants. Letters to support the visa request cannot be provided to participants who have not completed/paid their registration.

Cancellation Policy
Participants who register within the early bird deadline are entitled to registration fee refunds for valid reasons, substantiated with documentation (e.g., visa delays, medical conditions). Cancellation must be notified to Conference Catalyst at ckravec@conferencecatalysts.com. All refunds will be made after the conference. Refunds will be made to the same bank account or credit card as the original payment.
For any other extenuating circumstances with respect to registration, please write to the general chairs at lreccoling24-general-chairs-l@ufal.mff.cuni.cz with the subject “LREC-COLING 2024 Registration Extenuating Circumstances Request”. These may include single authors who have multiple papers, participants with financial, medical, or other challenges. These will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Please refer to the following dates for cancellation:
- Cancellation by April 30, 2024: Full refund less bank or credit card expenses and a 75€ processing fee
- Cancellation after April 30, 2024: No refund. For special cases,
Cancellation means that the final paper could be withdrawn from LREC-COLING 2024 Proceedings if no author has finally registered to the Main Conference.
Please remember that cancelling your registration does not automatically cancel your hotel and travel arrangements. Each participant is responsible for cancelling their own hotel and travel reservations.
