LINGOTTO CENTRO CONGRESSI/AUDITORIUM
The largest factory in Europe from the 1920s, a unique industrial monument in Italy and in the world, has been transformed – according to the project by Renzo Piano, winner of the 1984 ideas competition “Twenty projects for the future of the Lingotto” – into a multifunctional hub.
The reconversion also included a structure of 26,000 m2. to host events: the Lingotto Congress Centre.
Here is the Giovanni Agnelli Auditorium, dedicated to the founder of FIAT, the pride of the location, with excellent acoustics and a capacity of 1,900 seats.
In this hall on 6 May 1994 the inaugural concert with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Claudio Abbado, opens the doors to the world of the meeting industry, to welcome congresses and concerts in Turin in a functional setting rich in history.
The offer is completed with the services and projects implemented in the multipurpose building in which it is inserted:

From the historic helicoidal ramps you go up to the rooftop track, a test circuit for cars, a legendary link that links the Lingotto to its automotive origins.
Today LA PISTA 500 hosts a suspended garden with artistic installations overlooked by the Pinacoteca Agnelli, an art gallery with classic and contemporary masterpieces, the LAPISTA restaurant and the Bolla, a panoramic VIP room in glass and steel for 40 guests at almost 30 meters in height.
17 meeting rooms from 1,700 to 25 seats to host plenary meetings and parallel sessions at the same time according to the requirements of national and international associative congresses for up to 3,200 participants. The exhibition and catering spaces develop along the bright galleries that connect the rooms.

TRANSPORTATION
The urban surface lines that reach Lingotto Fiere are 1, 18 and 35. From the Porta Nuova and Porta Susa railway stations, visitors can use the underground: 9 stops from Porta Susa (line 1 – direction Lingotto), 6 stops from Porta Nuova (line 1 – direction Lingotto).

TRAIN
Turin is served by three railway stations.
Porta Nuova: 10 minutes by car or 6 subway stops
Porta Susa: 20 minutes by car or 9 subway stops
Lingotto: 20 minutes on foot via the Olympic footbridge, 15 minutes by bus line 18, Millefonti stop

AIRPORT
The ARRIVA bus service connects Turin Airport with the city with trips every day from 06.00 to 24.00. The journey takes about 45 minutes and costs €7.50. To reach LINGOTTO CENTRO CONGRESSI you can get off at Porta Nuova or Porta Susa and take underground line 1 towards Lingotto.
The sfm4 and sfm7 Turin – Airport – Ceres railway line, managed by Trenitalia, connects the city with the Airport in just 30 minutes.
